Unless
you're planning to visit other Orlando area attractions such as
Sea World, Universal Studios, or planning on venturing to some of
the more distant Florida vacation destinations such as Cape Canaveral
or Busch Gardens, a good rule of thumb is to purchase tickets for
2-3 days fewer than you're entire stay. This will help you avoid
paying for a full day at the Disney World theme parks on the days
you're traveling to and from Orlando. Purchasing tickets for three
days fewer than you're entire trip will allow for a 'rest day' in
the middle which you'll probably really need!
Keep
in mind that Disney ticket pricing is geared toward encouraging
you to purchase more days. As the number of days increases, the
price per day decreases. For example, a 7-day base ticket for an
adult (ages 10 and up) is about $12 cheaper per day than the same
5-day ticket. This means you'll get two extra days for just a few
dollars more per ticket!
