Magic Kingdom has the most diverse selection of rides and attractions
of any of the parks at Walt Disney World. Whether you’re into
thrill rides, kiddie rides, or prefer to sit and watch a show, Disney’s
Magic Kingdom theme park will keep you entertained for hours and
hours- if not days!
Here is a look at our picks for top rides & attractions at
Disney's Magic Kingdom.
 Space
Mountain
No trip to Magic Kingdom would be complete without a couple of
trips on this perennial favorite. While certainly not up to the
thrill level of some of today’s super-coasters, Space Mountain
is unique in that it is entirely indoors and completely dark throughout
the ride. Except for the star fields of course! Although this coaster
barely tops 30 mph, the fact that it’s in the dark makes it
seem much faster. The excitement of not knowing whether you climb,
dip, or twist and turn keeps you guessing and definitely adds to
the thrill.
 Big
Thunder Mountain Railroad
Watch out as this rickety runaway train comes barreling down Thunder
Mountain! You’ll zoom through an abandoned mining town as
the train pulls your mine car through a series of hills and turns.
This ride is pretty bumpy so those with back or neck trouble may
want to steer clear. Those brave enough to tackle Big Thunder Mountain
Railroad will have as much fun enjoying the scenery as they will
the ride itself!

 Splash
Mountain
Based on an obscure tale, Song of the South, this ride is nonetheless
pretty entertaining. You’ll ride the rapids as you go into
the mountain, seeing animatronic characters acting out various scenes
from the movie. The music will have you tapping your toes and humming
along throughout the ride, and the animation is delightful. There
are a few dips along the way that will tickle your tummy, but nothing
too scary. Then...you get to the end.... and the big SPLASH! Fun,
a little scary, and a great way to cool off!
 Buzz
Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
We ride this one a couple of times each time we visit Disney’s
Magic Kingdom. Nothing scary, it’s just plain fun! You and
a partner will blast aliens as you ride in a little space car around
a track that winds through high-tech, futuristic scenes. The moving
scenery has targets on it that you can blast for points with your
laser. One person usually steers the car while the other one shoots.
It’s fun to compete against others in your party to see who
gets the highest score!
