You'll have a 'wild' time at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park roaming amongst the wild animals in Kilimanjaro Safaris, searching for the Yeti on Expedition Everest, or just learning about wildlife conservation at Rafiki's Planet Watch!

One advantage Animal Kingdom has over the other parks in Disney's Magic Kingdom is an abundance of shade! The lush surroundings provide relief from the hot Florida sun, and there seems to be less walking than in the other parks. When it all gets to be too much, cool of with a refreshing ride down the Kali River Rapids!

Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom is based on the 'hub and spoke' layout of Disney's Magic Kingdom and Epcot. It is made up of six 'spokes' arranged around Discovery Island which is the center hub of Disney's Animal Kingdom.
