Floridays Resort

If the idea of being cramped in a small hotel room with none of the conveniences of home does not appeal to you, and the idea of spending your Disney vacation in a luxurious two or three-bedroom condominium DOES, check out the Floridays Resort. Floridays is part timeshare and part hotel. Many units are owned as part of their timeshare program, and many other units are rented.

The two bedroom unit where we stayed on our last trip to Disney had a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area, and a King master-suite with a huge bathroom and two-person whirlpool! With over 1,100 square feet of living space, we had plenty of room to relax. The kids loved having their own bedroom with two double-beds, a TV, and a DVD player- the perfect way to unwind after a long day in the hot sun.

Floridays resort has two pools- a main pool complete with a poolside lounge and plenty of spray fountains for the kids, and a separate smaller pool for quiet relaxation. The resort is conveniently located near a strip mall with a grocery store and a drug store making it easy to stock up on the necessities you'll need for your stay at Walt Disney World. There are also several great restaurants within a five minute drive of the Floridays Resort.

Two-bedroom units at Floridays start around $120 per night with three-bedroom units (about 1,400 square feet) running $20-$30 more.

You'll get 2 TVs (both with DVD players) for evening relaxation, and even a free PS2 to use during your stay! The resort has a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor basketball court and evening movies by the pool.
