Epcot Christmas Overview

Epcot Christmas reindeerThough far more subtle than the decorations at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street USA, the decorations at Epcot are still beautiful. One of the highlights is the giant Christmas tree decorated in an international flair (as you would expect).

This gives just a taste of things to come when you visit the various pavilions of the countries surrounding International Lagoon. You’ll also find some nice poinsettia and Christmas topiary displays throughout the park.

Since Epcot is pretty spread out, be sure you take the time to explore the World Pavilions surrounding the International Lagoon. Otherwise you'll be missing a lot!

Holidays around the world

If you visit Epcot during the Christmas season, you’ll want to be sure to experience “Holidays Around the World” at the international pavilions surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon.

Each pavilion features Christmas decorations authentic to each country, and each country’s version of Santa Claus. From France’s Pere Noel (Father Christmas) to Italy’s “la Befana” and Norway’s Julenissen, each country’s pavilion will provide interesting stories and authentic looks at their holiday celebrations.

England's "Father Christmas"

Epcot’s World Pavilions provide a great example of how Christmas is observed in the various countries around the world.
